For the ISAPS NEWS March Standing on the Shoulders of Giants section, we were honored to feature two of our specialty’s leading figures, Brian Kinney (1954–2023), and Mario Gonzalez Ulloa (1913–1995).  

Learn about Brian Kinney's life which was dedicated to contributing significantly to our specialty and advancing plastic surgery techniques for patients and surgeons, and the indomitable spirit of Gonzalez Ulloa which led him to play a pivotal role in establishing ISAPS and serving as one of its founding members.
