ISAPS Journal Operations Committee is seeking applicants for the position of Editor-in-Chief of ISAPS official Journal, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (APS) to start in June 2023.
The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) is inviting applications for the position of Editor-in-Chief of its official Journal, to start in June 2023.
Aesthetic Plastic Surgery publishes original, peer-reviewed work in all areas of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and aims to disseminate the highest quality research and clinical developments, towards ISAPS mission for Safe Aesthetic Surgery and Aesthetic Education worldwide.
The Editor-in-Chief takes final responsibility for all published articles and must appoint, lead and develop the volunteer editorial board and work closely with the Managing Editor (Springer) for issue compilation. The role requires a high level of expertise to provide strategic oversight as well as ensure effective day to day management of editorial content. An understanding of the publishing environment and how it is changing is necessary, as well as significant editorial experience.
The Editor-in-Chief reports to the ISAPS Board, and will be appointed for three years in the first instance with the option of a further term by mutual consent. This role comes with an honorarium.
