From 2006-2020, Dr. Kim Yong Kyu studied a PhD at the Postgraduate School of Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, South Korea.
Dr. Kim Yong Kyu has been doing facial bone aesthetic surgeries (Malarplasty, Mandibular Angle Plasty, Genioplasty and Orthognathic surgeries) since 2001. He is currently working in Shanghai, China and Seoul, South Korea. He is the Director at Apgujung YK Plastic Surgery Clinic.
He is currently seeking to mentor aesthetic plastic surgeons who are recently board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons or are looking to set up their own private practice.
"Recently, Asian aesthetic surgeries are increasing remarkably in Seoul and many plastic surgeons are interested in Asian blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty with implant and facial contouring surgeries. I’d like to help young plastic surgeons who are interested in Asian aesthetic surgeries."
He is also a member of Smile for Children, Vietnam where his surgeries focus on children with congenital facial anomaly.
