This procedure corrects forehead ageing, characterised by forehead creases, drooping eyebrows, hooding over the eyes, a furrowed forehead, and frown lines. The incision is generally hidden along behind or along the hairline on the level of one ear to the other ear. With a gentle pull of the skin and tissue, followed by removal of excess skin and tissue with muscle adjustments, the incision is closed with a younger look of the forehead. Some people may be adequate in suspension sutures and no removal of tissues. Preparation may include a detailed history of medical history and medications, physical examination, smoking cessation, antiplatelet and anticoagulant withdrawal for about one week before surgery.
