As a Professor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt, Dr. Adham Farouk boasts more than twenty years of experience specializing in Cleft Surgery having conducted over 1000 cases at the Alexandria main University Hospital and in private practice.

Furthermore, Dr. Farouk actively contribute as a lecturer and Tutor Surgeon in Cleft surgery Workshops organized by the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University, aimed at training surgeons from Egypt and Arab countries in this field.

Additionally, Dr. Farouk is the founder of an NGO-NPO called Nile Smile, which is dedicated to providing optimal surgical treatment for children with "Cleft lip" in Nile basin countries and other needy areas, while also offering training to local surgeons on cleft surgery techniques.

Dr. Farouk participates as a lecturer and tutor surgeon in cleft surgery workshops organized by the Faculty of Medicine in Cairo University, in which they train surgeons from Egypt and Arab countries on cleft surgery.

Dr. Farouk founded an NGO-NPO called Nile Smile, dedicated to provision of optimum surgical treatment for children with "Cleft lip" in Nile basin countries and needy areas anywhere, with collateral training of local surgeons on cleft surgery.
