The program of the World Congress 2024 features:
- 350 faculty members, delivering keynotes, masterclasses and immersive sessions, state of the art updates, and special themed panels / debates across the six different topic themes of the Congress.
- An addition 260 speakers, selected through competitive peer review to take part in our free communication sessions also presented in the same six key topic themes: Face, Breast, Body, Rhinoplasty, other/innovative surgical techniques, and non-surgical (including minimally invasive, injectables, regenerative medicine, practice management, and patient safety), and
- Award lectures: Ohmori, best APS Journal papers, best Safety investigation by an ISAPS member.
- Best paper by an early career surgeon awards
More than 500 talks will be presented by speakers from 67 different countries, in several presentation formats:
- Special sessions: panel discussions, debates, clinical pearls, ‘What I no longer do’ sessions.
- State of the Art updates / conventional sessions (short updates in topic themes)
- Scientific sessions (new free communication presentations)
- Rapid-fire sessions (short update free communication lectures) and panel discussions in topic themes
- Poster discussion sessions throughout the congress in our open stage in the exhibit hall
- Special award lectures: the Ohmori prize, APS Journal best papers, Patient Safety award
- ISAPS leadership program (L.I.F.T.)
- Excerpts from the 4S Business School
The program also offers integrated keynote faculty Masterclasses; our ISAPS Women's Symposium; industry workshops; and a full day of pre-congress activities including our Video Live Surgeries course and Residents’ Symposium.
This year, the Ohmori lecture will be awarded at our Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, June 12 at 18:30.
