This program has been in existence since 1991 and is designed to give the guest broad exposure and experience in the full range of aesthetic plastic surgery including facial aesthetic surgery techniques, rhinoplasty, and secondary procedures; aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery (just the right mix of microsurgical breast and implant techniques); and body contouring. We will show our visitors how to set up a private practice office and develop a comfort level for the practice of aesthetic plastic surgery. The visitor will have the opportunity of observership or hands- on training and participate in educational activities in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of PUCRS – Porto Alegre, Brasil.

The duration of this visit is one month.
Licensure
Yes, the candidates should be board-certified plastic surgeons or residents with certification. Candidates must also provide a letter from an active local member of ISAPS.
Salary
The ISAPS Expert program does not provide a salary.
Accommodation
Housing will not be provided during your visit.
